Troy has a 25-year track record of tackling tough problems, pioneering strategic initiatives, repeatedly and successfully growing local Houston, TX, national and international businesses. Supporting some of the world’s largest and most successful companies, as well as lower middle market companies, Troy knows what works and what to avoid.  

He brings the perspective of a results-oriented senior executive to each opportunity, based on his experience as the CEO of a Hosuton-based vertically integrated omnichannel retailer, as the COO overseeing Hosuton-based private equity portfolio and from working with C-level executives at world-class organizations.

 

Representative Project Experience:  Large, Medium and Small Scale

  • Defined market entry strategy for a multi-billion-dollar international gaming company, including an implementation framework to drive strategic priorities and timing.
  • Led seminal projects for a major discount chain, including redesigning the company’s approach to private brand management, impacting tens of billions of dollars of business, while another focused on optimizing cash register staffing, yielding over $100 million in savings.
  • Created and implemented a long-term strategic roadmap delivering over 50% revenue growth and record profitability in two separate companies by leveraging eCommerce, brand expansion, capitalizing on underutilized assets and strategic sourcing.
  • Revived a failing pricing strategy project that had lost traction and languished for nearly two years; Finalized the complex, multi-faceted pricing approach and deployed it across the company.
  • Led move from domestic wholesalers to factory-direct relationships in China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Pakistan, El Salvador and The Dominican Republic delivering over 30% improvement in direct purchasing cost.
  • Sourced, closed and integrated six add-on acquisitions. In addition, he participated on integration teams merging major consulting firms and major retailers.
